Subject: Internship Opportunity at Wildlife Institute of India

Hi,
We seek applications for three internship positions at the Wildlife
Institute of India under Dr. Gautam Talukdar. The interns are expected
to work in various domains, and the primary tasks would be-
1. Literature review: We need to conduct a detailed review of the
literature for multiple endangered species. The primary focus is on the
species' ecological and habitat preferences.
2. Remote Sensing and GIS-based task: Interns will also assist in
mapping the habitats and species distribution modeling of the endangered
species.
Additional work will be given based on the interns' performance.
Eligibility: M.Sc in Environmental science (and allied subjects).
We also encourage M.Sc students seeking 4-6 months of dissertation
projects.
This internship will help students to enhance their knowledge and learn
new skills like - systematic review, Google Earth Engine, MaxEnt, R,
etc.
