Responding to the need for advancing heritage education, the *Wildlife
Institute of India Category 2 Centre on World Natural Heritage Management
and Training for Asia and the Pacific Region (WII-C2C)* under the auspices
of UNESCO initiated a *Master’s Programme in Heritage Conservation and
Management* in 2019 with the objective to enhance interdisciplinary studies
in heritage.
The course includes *theoretical and methodological integration of
ecological sciences and heritage studies* combined with practical and field
engagement and is affiliated with the Academy of Scientific and Innovative
Research (AcSIR).
*Admissions for the 2022-2024 batch* are now open and more details can be
