Forsyth Lodge, Satpura is hiring
Forsyth’s is a naturalists-run, community focussed safari lodge located
just outside Satpura Tiger Reserve in Madhya Pradesh. For us the local
communities are the key to conservation which can be achieved through
sustainable and responsible tourism practices.
The lodge is currently run by naturalists who are self-motivated,
passionate, ever-learning and responsible individuals, who love what they
do and are here because of their passion and not because of a profession.
While their primary job involves guiding on activities they are also
involved in community activities with locals and conservation work with
forest department to address different issues.
We are looking for freshers with good communication in English, basic
knowledge of Indian wildlife like birds, mammals, trees, for guiding
Foreign and Indian guests. An inclination and openness to learn
continuously is a must. Brief knowledge of the diverse culture of the
republic and an awareness of current affairs in the global context is also
preferred. Personal interests in specific areas will be a plus.
Hiring will be done on basis of interviews and a one month training for
evaluation.
