Leading Wildlife Conservation NGO Seeks Field Biologist
Wildlife Trust of India (WTI) invites applications from individuals with at
least 1-5 years of field experience as Biologist for our Terai Tiger
Project in Uttar Pradesh.
*Who we’re looking for*
As our Field Biologist, you will be responsible for field or on-site
implementation of the project under supervision and guidance of the
reporting manager, and as per the technical and financial plan of the
project.
Before applying, please ensure that you meet our requirements:
*Qualifications and skills*
• Bachelors or Masters in Biology / Zoology
• Minimum 1-5 Years’ experience
• Past experience in working with Wildlife will be
preferred
• Must be a team player
*Broad responsibilities include*
a. Contribute to strategic planning and plan the project activities in
consultation with the Division Head/PI.
b. Liaise with relevant government departments, donors/potential donors
and other agencies as required.
c. Responsible for acting as the on-site representative of WTI (at
particular level) and to ensure that the image of WTI
as a conservation action organization operating in the field is maintained
at all times.
d. Responsible for maintenance of all relevant assets of the
organization in the area of activity.
e. Provide content for website and participate in dissemination and
outreach as and when required.
f. Undertake all activities as listed against name in relevant
project PIP/s and job targets.
g. Undertake any other work as delegated by Division Head/Project Head.
