The Agricultural and Ecological Research Unit, Indian Statistical
Institute, Kolkata is going to organize the '*R Workshop for ecologists*'*
during
7-13 March 2018*.
*Background*: Ecology is more quantitative and theory-driven than ever
before. Application of R programming language in ecological analyses
provides definite advantages as it includes numerous routines for
ecological and exploratory data analysis. This workshop is designed for
those who have not used R before but are eager to learn the R programming
in ecology.
*Themes*: Data handling in R, hypothesis testing, statistical
distribution for ecologists, model building in R, multivariate data
analysis, and cluster analysis
*Dates*: March 7-13, 2018
