RECRUITMENT OF JUNIOR PROJECT FELLOW
(Walk-in-Interview)
Applications are invited from interested and eligible candidates for one
post of Junior Project Fellow (JPF) for a period of two years for the
project “Diversity of scorpions (Arachnida: Scorpionida) in Madhya Pradesh
with studies on ecology, biology and associated traditional knowledge about
medically important species” funded by Madhya Pradesh State Biodiversity
Board.
*Essential qualification:* M.Sc in Zoology / Biodiversity conservation/
Wildlife Biology/ any branch of Life Sciences with a minimum of 60%
aggregate marks in M.Sc. from a recognized Indian university. *Desirable
qualifications:* Highly motivated candidates having experience in taxonomy/
ecological studies with basic knowledge on DNA isolation and photography
are required for the post. The candidate should be physically fit to work
in the field and should have passion in rearing dangerous animals
(scorpions) for biological studies.
*Emoluments:* Rs 25,000/- plus 16% HRA.
*Age limit:* Upper age limit is 30 years as on 1 st January 2021. However,
the upper age limit may be relaxed up to five years in the case of S.C.,
S.T. & O.B.C. candidates (as per GoI rules).
Candidates are requested to send their CV along with self-attested scanned
copies of certificates in a single pdf file through email, addressed to
pratyush.m@xxxxxxxxxx and a copy to czrc@xxxxxxxxxx by 18th January 2021.
The qualified candidates will be allowed for the interview on 25th January
2021, to be held at ZSI Office, Central Zone Regional Center,
Jabalpur-482002, Madhya Pradesh from 11:00 am onwards.
