Greetings from Development Alternatives!
As you may be aware, that we are hosting the Green Economy Economy
Coalition - Global Annual Meeting on “*Local Green Enterprises*” - *Building
Movements of MSMEs within India’s Transition to an Inclusive Green
Economy, *from 4-6 February 2020.
The Global Meeting aims to exchange knowledge on local learning from green
entrepreneurs and to delve into aspects of finance, measurements, markets
and governance needed for enabling Local Green Enterprises in India. The
Global Meeting will be attended by civil society members, government
representatives, local entrepreneurs, financiers, media, academicians
and development practitioners.
Based on our experience and that of our partners, we have developed a
Statement from Civil Society and other stakeholders on Local Green
Enterprises. The Statement will be read out and shared with the Ministry of
MSMEs and the UN-PAGE India Secretariat team to engage them on relevant
policy action. It will also be shared with other financial, technology and
market players for enterprises in general and green enterprises in
particular.
In this regard, may I request you to please share your comments and
feedback on the Statement by 30th January!
