Are you passionate about monitoring wildlife? Always wanted to do camera
trapping for tigers? Here’s your chance! The Large Carnivore Monitoring
team at WCT is looking for two interns to assist in its camera trapping
surveys to assess the status of tigers in the Satpuda-Melghat corridor in
Madhya Pradesh.
Required qualification and skills:
· MSc in Wildlife Biology/Environment/Biodiversity/Zoology or other
relevant subjects
· Candidates with previous volunteering or internship experience in
camera trapping field surveys will be given preference
· The candidates should be in good health and fit for intense field
work in challenging terrain and weather conditions, with basic on-field
accommodation and food
This is a paid internship, and the duration is six months, starting
November 7, 2022
The last date to apply is October 27, 2022.
