Raman (for YETI) ---------- Forwarded message ---------- Volunteering opportunity: We are looking for one or two interested volunteers for an ongoing study on plant-pollinator interactions in Myristica swamps of Southern Western Ghats. The study primarily aims to understand the impacts of fragmentation and surrounding land use types on plant pollinator interactions in Myristica swamps using a network approach. The study sites are based in Kulathupuzha, Anchal and Thenmala ranges of Kerala. The work would largely involve assisting in the field with phenological data collection, plant and pollinator sampling. The duration of assistance required would be from November 2012 to June 2013. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in any area of science and prior field experience is desirable Food, accommodation (at IISER Trivandrum Field Station, Kulathupuzha) and an honorarium would be provided.
