Don't Panic!

(By the way, this is the title of the column I wrote today about
media workgroup technologies).

This article is one of the first positive signs that broadcasters are
awakening from their long stay in Sleepy Hollow.

The breathtaking words from Lynn Claudy and Mark Richer, and the
inability of ABC to work with their affiliates suggests that we are
reaching a turning point where terrestrial broadcasters may be
willing to support a radical change as opposed to sinking with the
ship.

Maybe it's time to put down the hammer and go back to work trying to
help broadcasters build one of the most important new communications
infrastructures since the printing press.

Regards
Craig
