PCs are the ultimate fun toy, with all manner of gizmos in them that you can screw around with, investigate, reconfigure, upgrade, etc. So you watch a fun TV program, you listen to music videos of just about any type, you browse web sites, you install new drivers or other software, you write a program, all at the same time. Pretty hard to beat.
