Hmmm. I wonder if you might also say that Samsung has no incentive to
update their SIR-T451 STB with the Gemini chip until A-VSB is evaluated?
And the waiting game goes on, year in, year out.

Meanwhile, I've all but quit watching analog TV. Occasionally I tune in
analog, just for old times sake, and it looks so primitive it's really
strange. The grain, the ghost, the colors, all look like it just wasn't
there yet. As I figured it would, in short order.

CSI Miami, in HDTV, is something to behold. They show views of Miami,
all with what looks like a warming filter of some sort, which are truly
amazing.
