Note that the D-Cinema context has only one pass thru the following sequence: Master in 4:4:4, convert to 4:2:0, convert to compressed state, then distribution, back to uncompressed state and back to 4:4:4 then display. But I think he would agree, that extending the color gamut beyond the current Rec709 limits does make a noticeable difference.
