I thought I was remembering over 50% online already now. This claims that 45%

You have major reading comprehension problems Bert.

This survey says NOTHING about the time spent watching linear TV versus OTT
services. It simply measured preferences and viewing devices.

It is not news that more than 50% of Millennials "prefer" OTT services to
linear TV, or that they use computers, tablets and smartphone to watch TV.

And the movie thing is rather obvious. Hardly anyone tunes to linear channels
to watch movies. They rent DVDs, or download, or watch what is available from
Netflix; a few may even subscribe to HBO Now, although in this age group it is
more likely they are watching HBO Go with borrowed authentication credentials.
