Hello, all, I received this from a friend of mine and I was wondering if this is a systemic problem or would it be a problem with the installation in the Fresno, CA area. If anyone has a suggestion of how he can solve this, I'd appreciate it. In theory, this shouldn't be the case, should it? See message below. Cheers, Richard I just put up an EchoStar/DISH Network 3-LNB monster and was surprised by the lower quality than expected of the audio: mostly intermodulation distortion to varying appalling degrees, depending on the channel and the program content. I'd like to find out if this across-the-board IM distortion, as well as other audio fun I'm hearing, is a known issue they're working on, or maybe something they know about but can't fix for various (good?) reasons, or if perhaps no one's noticed. I suppose it could be an issue with my STB or my installation, but I don't think so. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can UNSUBSCRIBE from the OpenDTV list in two ways: - Using the UNSUBSCRIBE command in your user configuration settings at FreeLists.org - By sending a message to: opendtv-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word unsubscribe in the subject line.
