My thinking is that the content owners never want their stuff to go unwatched, if people show restraint. Content owners instead find different models, just as when Ondigital went out of business. Ron, thanks for the Channel Master PVR review. Actually, I found a problem with back to back recordings with the Philips DVDR/PVR too. My solution is to introduce a 2 minute gap. You lose some, but it seems to always work.
