Is this the first time Apple software runs in somebody else hardware?

Hey Bert...

So LG is introducing a handful of TVs with ATSC 3.0 capability - clearly this
requires some additional hardware...

Meanwhile, with nothing but a software upgrade, LG is adding support for the
Apple TV streaming service to tens of millions of EXISTING TVs...

Regards
Craig
