Where will this kind of criminalization of politics end?
The FCC Inspector General looked at the FACT that President Obama told the
Chairman of the FCC - IN A VERY PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT - to reclassify ISPs under
Title II, and saw nothing wrong. Now with support by several Democrats, the IG
is looking at Chairman Pai and the Sinclair deal.
One minor problem. IF the FCC changes the ownership caps, Sinclair will be a
MINOR player in the merger and acquisition deals that would follow. The real
winners will be the content congloms that own the broadcast TV networks.
Clearly the congloms do not want Sinclair to create a competing network that
could provide an alternative narrative in the public airwaves.
One wonders why this story is not being told; then again, “The mainstream
media” is not telling the American public about the MANY stories emerging about
the criminalization of politics by the Obama administration.
As always, when we see stories Ike this, we need to dig deeper and try to
understand the real story that is being ignored...
