The guys in Hollywood will find this to be quite amusing. Have you got a DVD player yet Bert? Have you noticed that hardly ANY of the movies available are offered in 16:9? A 116:9 screen is simply a convenient display palette. The reality of digital programming is that formats no loner matter. In the future TV will be expected to accommodate all aspect ratios and many forms of content that will use whatever palette you have most efficiently.
