Thanks for the explanation John. I was a little concerned because of the frequent talk regarding the age of the Optus B1 satellite and its likely impending retirement. Do you know anything regarding the possible switch to a newer satellite, maybe Optus D1? We could certainly do with some competition from TVNZ and others to make this game a better deal for the subscribers and cover such things as the above event but is this likely? Well I think about as likely as a flying piggy knocking the satellite off alignment.
