Why, yes it is, but there are probably only a couple people besides us who
regularly read hdtv.forsandiego.com, where I found KPBS's announcement.
I have a firewire card, but other priorities always interceed.
Also means unhooking SA3250HD and dragging to PC in rear room.
I'm mostly satisfied with D-VHS (incl encrypted channels) and see
no need to downgrade to PC (unencrypted only).

Since my wife and I couldn't make the yearly trek to CES2006, maybe you'll run
across us at my first NAB2006---once I can figure out the VIP Exhibits & Spouse
Pass thing.

Is this another one of your dual posts to opendtv and the san diego dtv list?
Seems an odd way to communicate, since there's a wider audience on this list,
and there is little overlap between the lists.

You could have discovered this yourself with approprate equipment to demux the
transport stream, and Leon Messenie, CE of KPBS, is apparently a local call for
you.
