KPBS-DT in San Diego announced that they will broadcast fol. Automated Software
Update for DTV Equipment service:
http://www.broadcastdatacorp.com/default.shtml
I was aware that ATSC had been working on defining the Software Data Download
Service in ATSC Document A/97:
http://www.atsc.org/news_information/press/2004/PR_SDDS_11_04.htm

Does anyone know which HDTVs or OTA STBs that actually implement this software
update service???
I can't recall ever seeing this mentioned in any manufacturer's website....

This would provide an automatic software update service roughly equivalent to
what we take for granted for CATV and DVB.
