Bert, As I have said over and over and over again for the past 7 years, even if ATSC were able to perfectly receive even the worst case multipath signal, I would still be in favor of switching to DVB-T because of all the flexibility and customization available to the end user, which is the broadcaster. Portable and mobile reception, HM, the new DVB-H handheld, and the ability to switch bitrates on the fly as conditions warrant. It's good that progress is being made on the reception front, but fixed reception is not the only criteria to a viable free over the air broadcast service. Maybe you should run down to your local Radio Shack and pick up one of these tuners and have some fun with it. Get some real world experience that you don't get by reading lab reports and charts.
