Hmm,

Bert, an information systems designer for Boeing Defense who never even 
touched an ATSC receiver, says that the 8-VSB receiver issue is going 
swimmingly well, while Frank, an (former?) RF engineer for Motorola that has 
worked on DTV receiver chipsets, says that he feels sorry for "all those 
poor suckers who will be forced to buy ATSC receivers in their new TV sets."

Who to believe?  Sigh.
