Perhaps one of the problems you are having with the concepts that i have been championing is that you are still thinking of services that are tightly coupled to a specific transport; for example, Broadcast Radio and Broadcast TV. As we all know, these transports are no longer the only way to receive radio and TV programming. If you think in terms of decoupling content and carriage, it is possible to focus on what each transport can be used for. Some will excel at one thing, others will excel at another. And some of the services that are delivered will leverage multiple transports so that they can reach potential consumers anywhere, anytime.
