The point is, any device that is Internet capable can be used to connect to these services, Craig. You don't need some special-purpose, restrictive Netflix STB or AppleTV, Roku, or deliberately crippled "connected TV" sets. Use a decent tablet, for instance. Even a decent tablet, such as the Surface Pro, including the 2 version of it, wouldn't have to depend on "apps."
