I doubt there's any disagreement on these points, Barry. Not on this
list, at least.

It's all about politicans having to pander to whiners. Whiners vote too,
and they are amazingly numerous around here.

Your points seem to assume that people should know to behave
responsibly. They don't. First, they screw up even when they should have
known better, and then they habitually blame someone else for their
carelessness. This is the rule, hardly the exception.
