Hi all:

Week twenty-two on the Taste of NAB Road Show takes us into October and to three states: Wisconsin, Iowa and Missouri. So far this year, we've had 1606 in attendance. See the unedited comments at: www.tech-notes.tv/2009/2009_Comments.pdf <http://www.tech-notes.tv/2009/2009_Comments.pdf>. (They are added to this URL as they are received.)

The first of this next week's three presentations will be in the evening in Western Wisconsin (Eau Claire) on Monday, October 5th in the Community Television studios and is hosted by SBE Chapter 112. Food/Refreshments will be provided by a not so anonymous benefactor. For more information, please visit: www.broadcast.net/~sbe112/meetings.html <http://www.broadcast.net/%7Esbe112/meetings.html> or www.tech-notes.tv/2009/68-Western-WI.htm <http://www.tech-notes.tv/2009/68-Western-WI.htm>.

The second presentation this week will also be an evening event and is hosted by Des Moines SBE Chapter 109 on Wednesday, October 7th. Things will happen in the studios of Iowa Public Television in nearby Johnston, IA. Food/Refreshments will be provided by Mark Goins, District Sales Manager for Harris' Radio RF and Studio Systems. For more information, please visit: www.tech-notes.tv/2009/69-Des%20Moines.htm <http://www.tech-notes.tv/2009/69-Des%20Moines.htm>.

We will wrap up this first week of October with our third presentation in Mid-Missouri (Columbia, MO) with a noon meeting hosted by SBE Chapter 143 in the studios of KOMU-TV on Friday, October 9th. Food/Refreshments will be provided by EVS -- Electronic Video Systems of Springfield, MO. For more information, please visit: www.tech-notes.tv/2009/70-Mid-MO.htm <http://www.tech-notes.tv/2009/70-Mid-MO.htm>.

There is never any admission charge to attend the Taste of NAB Road Show presentations and they are open to anyone interested in broadcasting, post production and their related disciplines. Price and delivery is never discussed during the presentation as The Taste of NAB Road Show is NOT a sales blitz, but rather an educational experience. Over $1800 in door prizes will be drawn for at the end of the day at each of these two locations. Note: a final drawing will take place when all the Taste of NAB Road show has been completed its trek. These are for some rather valuable door prizes. You can see all the door prizes at: www.tech-notes.tv/2009/2009-DoorPrizes.htm <http://www.tech-notes.tv/2009/2009-DoorPrizes.htm>.
