Seriously?

What a cop out. I stick with cable - for now - because that is where most of
the content we want to watch is offered. I will cut that cord as soon as there
is a viable alternative.

There are plenty of alternatives when it comes to PCs. I have never owned a PC,
and have suffered through rough spots with the Mac. But it now provides a much
more stable user experience, runs Windows when I need it for legacy (XP)
programs, and plays well with my iOS devices and Apps.

Perhaps that's why Mac market share is growing while Windows is in decline.

I like Win10. It works very well, with a few apps here and there that require
more work. The business about touch screen or mouse is just uninformed
silliness, perennially blown way out of proportion. Win10 operates very
easily with either type of interface. It adjusts according to the display you
have.

Read this:

http://www.businessinsider.com/windows-10-adoption-rate-vs-windows-7-windows-8-2015-10

As of Oct 7, its adoption rate easily beat out all the previous ones,
including Win7. If the growth curve levels off some, that's shouldn't be
surprising.

Gotta love statistics. Fastest adoption rate ever! Up to an amazing 6.6% of
computers accessing the web. But wait...

That's old news. The latest numbers are out and a month later it's now 7.94%.

More than 25% of Macs upgraded to OS-X El Capitan in the first month.

But to be fair, Microsoft usually charges for OS upgrades, while Apple OS
upgrades are free and relatively painless. Even with a free Windows 10 upgrade
for Win 7 & 8 users, most PC users are sticking with Win 7. I suspect most
would still be using XP, as I do, if Microsoft had continued supporting it.
