I've checked at
http://www.digitalbitrate.com/dtv.php?mux=&live=1&lang=en&liste=4
and even for France, it appears you are right.
Out of 40 DTT channels (including three UDH/HEVC test channels), there
are still 5 of them operating in 576 lines format. This includes the
local channel, i should have thought of this one (but it always had poor
quality, even before the switch to HD).
So still alive, indeed. But always watching the same channels, i did not
have those in mind. The perceived difference in quality on a large
projection screen tends to drive me away from them (even the local one).

You can UNSUBSCRIBE from the OpenDTV list in two ways:
- Using the UNSUBSCRIBE command in your user configuration settings at
FreeLists.org
- By sending a message to: opendtv-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word
unsubscribe in the subject line.
