While we are at it would love to hear about subsidies for oil and gas,
farming and the truly monumental subsidies for the Defense Industry. The
demand for defense is so great that passing the hat on Fox everyday would
surely raise more than enough to make Northrup shareholders happy. Wouldn't
need to have all those contractors on the public teet. And wouldn't we all
want to contribute to Haliburton so that they can still get $100 per bag of
laundry they do in Afghanistan instead of them leaching it off taxpayers?
We are all going to line up to contribute so that our gallant soldiers have
clean underwear right? Or maybe we would all line up to do that laundry
instead of Halliburton at $100 a bag.
I will be for cutting out minuscule subsidies for the PBS and Sesame Street
when we first have cut out the big ones. When Congresscritters work for the
minimum wage, when they have the same government subsidized health
insurance the poorest Americans have, when they have the same subsidized
retirement plans the least among us have and when ALL citizens have the
right to vote. If you want a voter ID law make it include a provision that
ALL voters have such an ID FIRST, before implementation.
