OCMR MEMBERS:
OK, it appears that we are all unfamiliar with Thomas Fratello.
He is trying to find a home for his 67 professionally done, layout videos.
Not even Bill Hess, who sent me the email, knows him.
Undaunted, I sent Thomas the following email earlier today.
If any of you know Thomas, I'm still looking for information about him.
Otherwise, the ball is now in his court to contact us.
In my view, he wants his videos to be seen by the public,
and not a few members in some back room layout building
of a fixed base club.
I've offered him information as to how OCMR would make
his videos seen by the public.
More importantly, the public need not come to some fixed layout building,
but that OCMR goes to the public.
---at train shows, museums, home shows and special events such as
Imaginology and Elks clubs.
I also included a link to our KRT event in 2019 at the OC Youth Center.
If this does not warm his heart for OCMR, there is nothing better to add.
I'm awaiting his contact in return.
These videos are extremely valuable for coercing folks into our hobby.
Having 67 of them would be a godsend!

We've not met but a club member sent me notice of your DVD offer.
I am VP of Orange County Module Railroaders, OCMR.
We are approaching our 50th year and have 37 members plus a couple to
add in 2021.
We are not a FIXED base club where only a few members
would see your videos or need to come to our layout location to view them.
Rather, by our name, OCMR is modular and we travel.
We do train shows but much more, about 12-16 shows per year.
Our territory ranges from Palos Verdes to the Perris railroad museum.
*We bring trains to the public.*
This includes museums, home shows, Elks events,
Imaginology at the OC Fairgrounds, etc.
Adding a constant playing video of some of the
best layouts in our hobby would certainly
add interest and perhaps bring new railroaders into the hobby.
One of the options we try to include at most shows is KRT,
Kids Run Trains. We provide a throttle and train,
and our guests run around the layout.
