Dear Members - attached is the Preliminary Budget for 2021. I propose this
Budget to begin the year, called "preliminary" due to the ongoing COVID-19
issues. We will revisit and update the Budget in June (when vaccinations
should have been rolled out and reopening will be underway).
*Major risks in this budget related to income: * renewal of Active
Membership totaling 38. Annual dues are $80, and are critical to
maintaining funds to pay our locker fees. We have already collected dues
from 16 actives and 1 visiting member for a total of $1307.00.
Show donations are also a risk, although the amounts shown are conservative
relative to years prior to 2020.
Most expenses are non-discretionary (unless we find a cheaper locker
alternative) The locker is ~80% of total expenses. The preliminary Budget,
if achieved, allows us to maintain our bank reserve of more than $3000.
That reserve will allow us to fill income gaps in 2021 if necessary.
