Hi Jon

Thanks for the responses.

    * What are the chances of us including the HTML5 Random Number Table
in Books 1-7 when we reissue them? (see

need to revise our transform scripts to create valid HTML5 webpages
    instead of xHTML?

The chances are slim. This would require someone to do some good XSLT.
If anyone out there wants to tackle it, that would be wonderful. I think
you'll want me to stay on task with the footnotes. :)

OK, I have tentatively written: "We have also investigated the potential for an automatic Random Number Table written entirely in HTML5, though this is unlikely to make it into the re-releases. Our current XSL files will require a major overhaul to ensure that we create correct HTML5 code instead of our current XHTML 1.0 Transitional code. That said, we would certainly like to hear from anyone who feels comfortable in contributing towards making this happen."

Of course, don't let that stop anyone already on the list from investigating this! ;-D

    * What about creating NOOK versions of the books when we re-release
    1-7? (see <http://www.projectaon.org/staff/jonathan/epub/nook/lw/>)
And just what are NOOK versions of the books, anyway (i.e. what runs
    them)?

The EPUB project is actually almost ready. I just needed to create one
more kind of metadata file and fix some known issues. Since it's EPUB,
it's should be possible to create versions for a whole range of devices.
Maybe over the holiday break I'll be able to tie up the loose ends. I
wouldn't tie this to the re-releases, though.

"In April, we released an EPUB version of Rune War. This versatile format is used on many mobile devices and we intend to release more books in this format in the near future."
