Release Candidates are now available for the following three PDF files of the
Combat Heroes series.

Although we cannot yet release Black Baron as we still require scans of White
Warlord, I am making it available as it is essentially complete. Now might be a
good time to begin a Comment Period on Emerald Enchanter and Scarlet Sorcerer,
so if those of you with time would like to download the files and check them for
problems, I would be appreciative of the feedback.

Although I haven't done an extensive play through, here are a few issues from EE and SS:

Order of Play: Should we note that each round occurs simultaneously
for both players? This is somewhat apparent from how the instructions
are worded, but it takes on critical importance during the firing
round (3) if both combatants are firing (e.g. on page 79). Damage must
happen simultaneously and take effect only after the firing round is
over. Otherwise, the rules must be augmented to decide who goes first.

Firing: player begins action 2 of a game round -> player begins action
3 of a game round

Escaping: It is possible for only one player to have an "Out of Sight"
mid-action page. For example, starting on page 1, EE decides to cruise
left while SS decides to bank right. EE goes to 114 and SS goes to 50.
SS now has an out of sight page but EE doesn't. What happens now? Do
they have to start over? If not, do we follow the instructions on EE's
page (since he's the only one with any instructions)? This seems to
work (i.e. lead to a reasonable result in this one case) but this
needs some clarification.

Jon: one last License niggle that I fixed for the CH books is that we give Gary
Chalk two different years (c) on the LWPPB, text 1986 and illustrations 1987;
both should be 1987.

Done. Are you sure it's the last. ;)
