Sorry to be two months late on this, but I have somewhere a two-player gamebook 
set that takes place in the Marvel Comics universe, namely Fantastic 4 vs. 
Doctor Doom...maybe that was part of the DuelMaster series you mention? It was 
quite cool, but I couldn't ever find anyone to sit down and play it with me, 
pointing up the reason I got so into gamebooks in the first place :)
