Hi everybody,
In recent weeks our team of dedicated researchers has identified the
existence of several obscure/rare things related to the Lone Wolf
universe. (These go well beyond the original books.) Consequently, there
is a lengthy list of people and companies that Project Aon must contact
in order to (1) find out whether the stuff still exists in some form and
(2) politely/formally ask for permission to use it on the website.
Our team of dedicated researchers would prefer if someone else (with a
little more experience doing this kind of thing) would volunteer to
become a PR guru and contact these people. (Because our team of
dedicated researchers are a bunch of computerey-types and don't talk to
anyone in the real world very often!)
Most of these are taken from various points in the Wishlist, but for
ease of reading I have reproduced the names of some of those that need
contacting here:
Companies: Red Fox, Audiogenic, Mongoose, Boss Leisure Ltd., Hasbro,
Games Workshop, Alternative, Armies, Matchlock Miniatures, US Sprint,
Broadsystem Ltd.
People: Trevor Newton, Jon Hare, Gary Patchen, Ian Upton, David
Whittaker, Dr Lloyd Yam
Note that this is NOT a request for someone (or several dozen someones)
to contact anyone at this point! Nor will it be necessary to do vast
amounts of research in tracking down contact details. We already have
e-mail addresses for the greater part of this list. And there are
different specific reasons for wanting to contact each company/person.
(Which, of course, you would be told in advance.)
Of course, if anyone happens to know the CEO of one of these companies
then that would be a great help too! :-)
