Subject: Typo
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hello again, I came across a minor typo in Greystar book 2:  "The Forbidden
City".
On paragraph 60 Hugi speaks of:
"ancient people who Once lived there."
This should read; "ancient people who once lived there." (I.e. the O in "Once"
shouldn't be capitalised).
I could have sworn that in paragraph 2 of the same book, the word should have been
"rooting" rather than "routing", but despite my misgivings, a dictionary
website says both spellings are applicable.  Oh well!
Cheers, and keep up the good work,
Kayvohn
Wise Shianti and Kundi man,
Look eye to eye in tree,
Shianti man see Kundi man,
But what does Kundi see?
Hi Kayvohn
Again, thanks for pointing this out. (I'm glad it's only one typo per book so far!) This is not an error in the original book, but a typo we managed to add ourselves. Whoops!
(ne) 02tfc 60: ancient people who Once lived -> ancient people who once lived
Looking at the other issue, I would be inclined to agree with you that 'rooted' would be the correct word, but a quick check on Dictionary.com does indeed allow for both spellings.
We now await in eager anticipation as to whether there are any typos in /Beyond the Nightmare Gate/ and/or /War of the Wizards/. ;-)
For Sommerlund and the Kai!
