Debbie,I’ve forwarded the
idea up the chain to the head of programming, and she likes
the idea. She has talked to Andrew Chance, the library
director. And he likes the
idea too. Spokane Public Library is interested in partnering
with the SAS to offer telescopes for checkout. So of course
many details would need to be worked out, I’m sure… The
board would probably have to think this through and decide
whether and how to proceed.You can consider me
as the liaison at this point, between the library and the
SAS. If you have questions for the library, let me know. If

am wondering if the Spokane area Library's would be
interested in the Library Telescope program
that started in New Hampshire and interest is now spreading
to different areas of the United
