Då jag vet att Bertil är intresserad av Indien, kanske nedanstående kan
intressera:
"I've written children's books [...] crime fiction (ranging from action
thrillers to Golden Age-style cozies, private eye detective stories, etc),
fantasy fiction (the Vortal Codex series), epic retellings (my Ramayana Series,
the forthcoming Krishna Coriolis, Mahabharata), comics and/or graphic novels
(The Sadhu, Becoming Kali, Sword of Dharma, etc), horror fiction (Weird Tales,
Gothic Net, etc, twice-nominated & longlisted for Bram Stoker awards), science
fiction (stories in Interzone, Artemis, Altair, etc), literary fiction (Byculla
Boy, etc), both the subject of numerous theses, academic studies, anthologized
as modern Indian literature), am working on alternate history (Gandhi's War),
religious SF (Gods of War and its sequels), romance fiction (short fiction in
various women's magazines), and I will write whatever I choose to write when I
want to write it! I've been credited as the author of the first Indian crime
novels in English, the first online novel, the first online serial, the first
multimedia novel (on CD-Rom), the first Indian telenovella, the first Indian
television series in English, the first Malaysian television series in English,
my feature film screenplay Sid going into production shortly is a major
big-budget English-language feature film about an American protagonist, an
American setting, and a completely American story and features no genre
elements. So I've generally pursued whatever held my fancy at the time and
still do."
