OK, nije lap top, moja omaska. Dalje, postoji eksterna tastatura kod ovog
modela.
A evo sta pise na onom sajtu koji sam pronasla, najprije slijedi dio
isjecenog teksta koji mi je bio zanimljiv, a onda i tekst u cjelosti.

Tablet Technology Overview
There are two configurations of tablets. The pure or slate configuration
resembles a paper notebook and if you want a keyboard, CD, floppy drive or
other
elements we think of as basic laptop components, you will need to purchase
them separately or make sure you purchase a bundled slate. The tablet PC or
convertible configuration is a traditional laptop, however, the screen can
rotate and fold down onto the keyboard so that it becomes a writing surface.
Again, you will need to check the device specifications because a CD and
floppy drive are often not included. You will also want to ensure that you
get
Centrino technology and it is recommended that you get 512 MB RAM,
preferably 1 GB RAM, especially if you are using adaptive technology with a
tablet of
any configuration.
Tablet screens are a kind of hybrid between a touch screen and the screen on
a PDA [personal digital assistant], because you can rest your arm on the
screen
as you enter handwritten text and the pressure of your hand or arm won't be
interpreted as data entry.

You can use ZoomText 8.x as long as you don't want to use the digital ink
technology. Currently there is a disconnect between where your digital pen
is
on the screen and where the pointer is. This makes handwriting impossible.
MAGic is currently not usable on a tablet system at all.
Magnifier works well if you need magnification support. There is a tip to
using this tool. dock the Input Panel at the top of the screen instead of at
the
bottom where it is by default. Launch Magnifier first so that it sits at the
top of your screen. Then turn on the Input Panel. This will let you view the
magnified Input Panel without having your arm or hand get in the way. Once
the Input Panel is launched, you can launch the applications you want to
use.
It will take a bit of practice to use the Magnifier tool with handwriting or
the on-screen keyboard as your view will move with the flow of your
handwriting
and movements across the on-screen keyboard. It is quite usable though and
another tool you can choose from.
Another tip for using magnifier is to dock the Input Panel at the top of
your screen for general use. by docking the Input Panel at the top of the
screen,
it will expand as you write. this means you don't have to write in chunks of
sentences but can complete sentences and thoughts and then send them to the
application.

To nije laptop. To je tablet pc računar i oni obično imaju ekrane osjetljive
na dodir, što je za nas nepraktično, i mislim da Jaws ne radi na Tablet pc
računarima.

Petre, mene samo zbunjuje ovaj XP Tablet. Sve ovo drugo sam tek usput
prilozila. Cijena je oko 1100 Eur.
Znam za lap top koji je upola jeftiniji i ima jos ponesto kao npr, DVD
rezac, ali je tezak 3 kg. Ova varijanta je nepun kilogram i to me je
prvikluprivuklo.

Za ono sto zelis raditi na njemu perfomanse su u redu. Obrati paznju na
tipkovnicu, jer kod nekih laptopa je sve nabacano na hrpu, pa mozes imati
problema prilikom rada. Nisi navela cijenu, sto mislim da je bitno.

Please za pomoc!
Pokusavam da kupim lap top, ali trazim nesto laganiju varijantu. Nisu mi
previse vazne neke performanse, koliko njegova prenosivost i neke osnovne
funkcije - pisanje, citanje, posta, internet... Dakle, vrlo sam skromna,
ali
bih zato da je sto laganiji.
E sad, dobila sam jednu ponudu, pa sam naravno u nedoumici.
Ispod su karakteristike, ali me zbunjuje OS - Windows XP tablet. Kako
Jaws
radi i da li uopste radi u ovoj kombinaciji???
