Hi Dónal,

Thanks for anwering. Its my daughter's she's wondering how to navigate web
pages, i.e. get from Google up at the search bar down down the page, if she
wants to log on to the sites in the search results. I think she knows that
about pressing h twice, its just a bit of an information overload at first. I
was reading the comment of Robbie about Ailbhe Ní Chasaide and the
Irish synthesis. They put the Irish voice on the free NVDA screenreader for my
daughter for Windows. Do you think there is any chance that the Irish Language
Voice could be put on an Apple Mac or even the Apple I phone? I noticed you
said you were involved with Apple.

Thanks,

Maree

Thanks,

Maree

Hi Marie,

What voiceover commands are you having difficulty with?  The most useful
command is to hold down the voiceover keys and press h twice.  Every single
commmand is contained in a menu structure.

Feel free to post questions here though, plenty of us use macs and are only too
delighted to respond and show these boring windows users what a real computer
and screenreader can do! :-)

Cheers

Dónal
