The €45 package is for a 1MB line (roughly 20 times faster than dial up) where
as the €54 is for a 2MB line (40 times faster).

For those paying the €54 they most likely increased your speed to 2MB, instead
of offering you the cheaper package. I had BB from them a year ago and this is
what they did. Give them a buzz and ask to downgrade (watch out - they could
charge you for this though).

I just signed up to UTV Clicksilver myself ... a 1MB line, line rental, and
free national and UK off-peak calls which works out at around €39 per month.
Decent value I reckon.

Hi Mike and gang,

I've been with BT for about 18 months,

I wonder if the €45 per month offer, extends to customers who joined when it
was €54 per month? Some how I doubt it!

Regards,

Eamonn
