Hi Folks - This won't be everyone's cup of tea, but since I know there are a number of happy iPhone users on the list I thought I would pass along this announcement: Zarfhome Software is pleased to announce the release of "Meanwhile for iOS". Jason Shiga's acclaimed interactive comic is now a truly interactive app for iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch. Plot teaser: On the way home from the ice cream store, little Jimmy discovers a mad scientist's wonderland: an experimental mind-reading helmet, a time machine, and a doomsday device that can annihilate the human race. Which one would you like to test out first? "Meanwhile" is fully playable through VoiceOver, making it one of the few graphic novels accessible to the visually impaired. Full details at this link (albeit this page has some images that don't have proper text alternatives available): http://zarfhome.com/meanwhile/ The app seems to be priced at US$4.99. Note: I'm not myself either an iPhone user or, particular, a "graphic novel" fan, so I can't vouch for whether this is actually good fun or not. But if anyone does try it out I'd be curious to hear of your experiences.
