Hi Ed Harper, I am a bit at a lossbut did you check out the profiles or as I
suggested did you change the prefered setting i.e. press the on off button and
go down through the options pager outdoor general and select different ones.
The phone will be set to general by default but maybe you have changed it
yourself by mistake, I opt for the outdoor option as you are sure to hear the
phone ring. If you go into profiles there might be a setting regarding the
length of the wave file as a ring tone. As for the missed calls I am sorry Ed
you should email customer services at your phone provider and may put both
questions to the customner care team. you might be lucky to get someone who
will be good a giving instructions on how to change the setting or explain why
missed calls don't show. Gerry

Sorry Edmund, I don't have the answer to your problem, but I have one under
the same subject area and thought someone who is wise in these things might
help me too. Two Edmunds for the price of one!

I have a Nokia 6680 which has stopped registering missed call numbers. I
can't find a setting to tell it to either do or not do this, it has also taken
to only giving the first fraction of any ring tone I set to operate when a call
comes in. Anyone help?

  Ed (Edmund).
