Hi Tim,

No, thought I'd throw it out on the list first, just in case I was missing
anything obvious - but I may do so.

Heard all but the end of the interview.

Regards,

Eamonn

Subject: [vicsireland] Query: downloading "The Right Hook?"

Hi folks,

I’m wondering if there’s any way of downloading an entire edition of
Newstalk’s “The Right Hook?”

I’ve looked, and it appears that each programme is available in 3 parts,
but only for listening online. Also, there seems to be no way of moving
through the file, so you must wait and listen , until the part in which
you’re interested comes up.

So far as I can tell However, it seems that a limited number of regular
features are available for download.

Last Thursday’s edition, contained an interview on the Jack and Jill
Foundation. I listened online, but the end of the interview was lost, as
it was eclipsed by commercials at the end of part 2. It seems that the
breaks end at 30, 90 and 150 minutes, rather than natural breaks between
items.

The interview began around 5:45, about 75 mins into the programme. In
other words towards the end of part 2!

Regards, and thanks for any help.

Eamonn
