Hey Edel

Some cameras have a fire wire connection, this allows you to connect
the camcorder to your laptop.  You can then transfer the video using
windows media player thus converting it into a file which can be burnt
to either a CD or a DVD.  I have created many DVDs through this
method.

If you do not have that facility you may have to have it done professionally.
