[vicsireland] Using a sky plus box

Hi folks, I am asking any of you that may have sky TV if you have used a
sky plus box? I heard an add on TV that you can set it to record
through your mobile if you were out and was wondering as I don't have a
video if this would be a better way for me to start recording programmes
that I want to watch. Obviously these gadgets are probably menu driven
so would I also be able to navigate round them?
Another little aside question would be if I was to start recording
through DVD would this be a better option?
Any suggestions or help greatly appreciated.
