Hi Nicky,
Sky Plus can be used with your mobile but a friend who uses it tells me that
the syntax for texting it is so complicated that its not worth it.
If you want to record programs I would think about investing in a pc running
Windows XP Media Centre or else, Windows Vista Ultimate or Home plus, if you
just want the media options.
We're a bit away from having an accessible Sky system in this country yet,
but I know that NCBI's Media Centre are pushing for this all the time.

Hi folks, I am asking any of you that may have sky TV if you have used a sky
plus box? I heard an add on TV that you can set it to record through your
mobile if you were out and was wondering as I don't have a video if this
would be a better way for me to start recording programmes that I want to
watch. Obviously these gadgets are probably menu driven so would I also be
able to navigate round them?
Another little aside question would be if I was to start recording through
DVD would this be a better option?
Any suggestions or help greatly appreciated.
