Hi All,

It's that time of year again; VICS membership is now due.

Subscription rates remain unchanged for 2011; €10 for waged, and €5 for
non-waged or students.

Membership offers the following benefits:

1) You can take action on issues affecting visually impaired computer users in
Ireland and abroad;
2) You will have the opportunity to deepen your own knowledge of computers and
assistive technology;
3) Our dedicated training is delivered by visually impaired trainers who
understand the issues you face;
4) Our Information and Technology Days are a valuable resource. You can hear
about the latest technological developments and sample the latest assistive
technology products;
5) Our friendly community of members help each other with technical questions
and commonly encountered problems via our on-line mailing list;
6) You will have access to the membership section on our website, where you can
avail of training resources;
7) You will gain a greater understanding of the issues visually impaired people
face when interacting with technology;

Subscriptions can be paid directly in cash, by bank transfer, cheque, or postal
order. You can also pay online via the VICS website.

Cheques or postal orders along with your name and contact details should be
sent to the below address. Note it is very important to include your name and
contact details, otherwise we will have no way of knowing who the payment is
from.
